Vintage Mason’s England Crabtree & Evelyn Red Transferware Soap Dish

A sweet little piece of English cottage charm, made for the everyday rituals that somehow make a home feel special.  This vintage oval soap dish was made in England by Mason’s exclusively for Crabtree & Evelyn, London. Its creamy ceramic surface is covered in a tiny burgundy-red transfer pattern, with gently raised ridges to help keep a favorite bar of soap from sitting in water.  It would look perfectly at home beside an old porcelain sink, near a clawfoot tub, or tucked into a cozy guest bathroom with collected vintage treasures. It could also be used as a small trinket dish for rings, earrings, or other little things that deserve a pretty resting place.  The underside retains its original Mason’s and Crabtree & Evelyn backstamp.  Approximate measurements: 5¾ inches long × 4¼ inches wide × 1 inch tall  Condition: In lovely vintage condition with no chips or cracks noticed.
