Silvestri Asia Society Fan Wall Plate Cynthia McCollum Iris‎ Bamboo 90s

Beautiful decorative ceramic wall plate designed in the form of a traditional Japanese folding fan. Produced by Silvestri for the Asia Society and designed by noted ceramic artist Cynthia McCollum, this piece dates to the late 1980s–1990s era of museum-licensed home décor. Features a soft celadon/chartreuse green glaze with hand-applied iris floral motifs and trompe-l'œil bamboo rib detailing. The fan shape and botanical design are inspired by classic Japanese aesthetics, making this a perfect accent for Asian-inspired, Japandi, or eclectic interiors. Crafted from glazed ceramic (not glass), this piece is intended as decorative wall art. Lightweight and easy to display, it works beautifully in gallery walls, zen-inspired spaces, or as a standalone statement piece. Pre-owned: Very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips noted. Light surface wear is consistent with age.
