Vintage Croscill Bijou Gold Wastebasket Tissue Box Cover Set

Vintage Croscill Bijou coordinating bathroom accessory set featuring the matching wastebasket and tissue box cover in a richly antiqued gold finish. Both pieces feature an ornate incised border design with decorative gold-tone medallions and dangling amber/rust jewel-style bead accents. The intentionally aged metallic finish gives this set a beautiful Old World look suited to Chinoiserie, Tuscan, Hollywood Regency, Baroque Revival, maximalist and traditional interiors. Original labels identify the collection as Bijou and show Made in China. The wastebasket also retains its original Dillard’s $40 retail sticker. Purchased together in 2005 for a guest bathroom. This is personal purchase history and is not intended to establish the exact manufacture date. Vintage preowned condition with intentional antiqued/distressed character plus age and use-related wear, including scratches, scuffs, rubbing, edge and corner wear and areas of finish loss. Wastebasket interior has use/storage marks. Please review all photos carefully for condition. Includes wastebasket and tissue box cover only. Tissues and styled accessories are not included.
