1950s Wooden Viking Gonk Ornament Spear Shield Scandinavian Folk Art MCM vintage

Vintage 1950s wooden Viking / Nordic warrior ornament featuring a spear, round shield, horned helmet, fuzzy yellow beard, red nose and googly eyes.  Made from turned wood with a dark brown finish and lighter wood accents. A gold hanging cord at the top allows it to be displayed as a Christmas ornament, though it also works as a small shelf figurine.  This is a fun example of 1950s Scandinavian-style folk art / mid-century novelty decor with a whimsical Viking gonk design.  Measures approximately 3.5 tall, not including the hanging cord.  Condition  Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear. There are scratches, finish loss and small surface marks to the wood. Beard has some fraying/fuzziness, and the hanging cord shows age. No maker’s mark visible on the bottom. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
