Vintage Seagram Amber Liquor Bottle Owens Illinois Federal Law Canada 8.25”. Unearthed. Dirt remnants are inside. Authentic vintage Jos. E. Seagram & Sons Ltd. amber glass liquor bottle with fantastic aged character and patina. Embossed markings include “JOS. E. SEAGRAM & SONS LTD.,” “CANADA,” and the classic “FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE” wording. Base features the Owens-Illinois glassmaker mark along with mold/manufacturing numbers. Beautiful deep amber brown glass with a classic flat flask-style form, rounded shoulders and threaded neck. Similar period Seagram bottles are documented with these Federal Law markings. Bottle Base Markings * Embossed Text: Reads JOS. SEAGRAM & SONS LTD. and CANADA with plant/location indicators. * Central Logo: Features an eye symbol inside a geometric shape (a classic Seagram trademark motif). * Condition & Age: Shows surface discoloration/rust staining from an old cap, typical of mid-1900s bottles.
